The season's first round ended on 3rd December, 2019 with a Lugogo derby between home side Proline FC and visitors KCCA FC which the latter won 4:0.
KCCA FC scored through brace hero Allan Okello 78', 90', Sam Ssenyonjo's 45th minute strike and Nicolas Kasozi whose goal came in the 69th minute.
The win cut Vipers lead at the top of the table to four points and consolidated KCCA in the second position with three points ahead of third placed BUL FC.
Sam Ssenyonjo went ahead to show his potential when he scored the first goal to make it three in his last four matches and also set up Allan Okello's first and the third goal of the match.
The match also saw KCCA's Julius Poloto return back to squad and received a standing ovation from the crowd and also set Allan Okello's second which eventually meant KCCA won the match 4:0. Poloto has been out for close to nine months but his return showed they missed creativity from the young lad.
The loss by Proline means they finish the first round of the season in relegation and at the bottom of the table with 9 points from 4 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses in 15 matches. For starters, the Purple and Yellow stripped side were deducted with six points for failure to honour their fixture against SC Villa in the earlier days of the running season.
During the first round, Proline has been coached by two coaches; Shafiq Bisaso who left for further studies and was replaced by Maria Lule who also recently quit and the club is in search for a replacement.
KCCA FC made changes with a double substitution in the 80th minute that saw Herbert Achai and Hassan Musana coming on for Joseph Kafumbe and Kizza Mustafa respectively. The last change saw Julius Poloto come on for Sam Ssenyonjo in the 83rd minute.
