KCCA FC Dominates McKinstry's Summoned Squad For CECAFA Challenge Cup

Uganda Cranes' tactician Jonathan Jonny McKinstry has summoned a 30 man provisional squad to prepare for the CECAFA Challenge Cup scheduled to take place from 7th to 19th December in Uganda.

The squad comprises of only local players with KCCA FC commanding the biggest number 7. They include; Lukwago Charles,Kizza Mustafa,Kato Samuel,Kasozi Nicholas,Mutyaba Muzamiru,Okello Allan and John Revita.

Training starts on Wednesday 26th November, 2019 with SC Villa's summoned players set to join the camp after the end of their season's first round fixture on 3rd December.

Uganda was grouped in Group A alongside Burundi,Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Uganda are 14 time winners winners since their first time participation in 1973 when they hosted and also won. Uganda last won the tournament in 2015 in Ethiopia and also won the last time they hosted the tournament in 2012.
