As all attention countrywide is being channeled to Nabbingo as songbird Rema Namakula introduces new boyfriend, Doctor Hamzah Ssebunya, more shocking revelations are coming out in relation to the singer's previous relationship with Eddy Kenzo.
We have learnt that local artist Halima Namakula who has for long been identified as Rema Namakula’s mother never wanted her daughter (Rema Namakula) to break up with Eddy Kenzo and did whatever she could in her capacity to frustrate 'Maama Aamal's decision to move on.
According to her close friend, faded singer Sarah Zawedde, the 'Ekimbewo' singer wanted Rema and Kenzo to sit down and solve their romantic issues amicably instead of resorting to the endless fights that yielded nothing.
As a 'Muganda' woman who is moved with the traditions and cultural beliefs, Halimah Namakula always wanted the disagreements and fist fights between Rema and Eddy Kenzo to get rounded up in their bedroom instead of breaking up.
This simply rounds up the fact why Halima Namakula (Rema's mother) was absent at her daughter’s recently concluded Kukyala ceremony.
"Halimah Namakula never wanted Rema to leave kenzo claiming that a loving mother doesn't advocate lovers to break up but strengthen their marriages," Stated Sarah Zawedde.
