Legendary Ugandan musician Kabuye Semboga is set to mark 42 years in the music industry with a grand concert at Kampala Serena Hotel on May 23, 2025. Organized by Balunywa Promotions, the highly anticipated event promises an unforgettable night, featuring an all-star lineup and world-class production.
Speaking at a press conference at Kampala Serena Hotel on March 19, Juma Balunywa of Balunywa Promotions described the concert as a historic moment for Ugandan music, emphasizing that it will honor Kabuye Semboga’s rich legacy with an authentic, high-quality live performance experience.
Semboga assured fans of a live-band showcase featuring his greatest hits, including “Ebisanyi,” “Kangume,” “Sheila,” and “Fahima.” He described the event as a nostalgic journey through his four-decade career, allowing fans to relive some of Uganda’s most iconic songs.
The night will also feature performances from top Ugandan artists, including Aziz Azion, Betty Mpologoma, Mesach Ssemakula, Geoffrey Lutaaya, and Bruno K, with more surprise acts expected.
Balunywa Promotions has promised a top-tier production with state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and stage design, ensuring a fully immersive experience. A full live band will accompany all performances, reinforcing the event’s commitment to delivering a true musical spectacle.
The press conference was attended by several industry figures, including Mesach Ssemakula, Aziz Azion, Bruno K, Abbey Mukiibi, Biggie Events, and Joanita Kawalya, alongside members of the media. The attending artists expressed their excitement about the concert, describing it as a fitting tribute to one of Uganda’s greatest musical icons.
Tickets will be priced at UGX 150,000 for standard entry and UGX 3,000,000 for a table of eight, with further details on ticket sales to be announced soon.
