Musician Fik Gaza has come forward with claims against media personality Sheilah Gashumba, accusing her of making unfulfilled promises to connect him with top international stars.
According to Fik, Sheilah assured him of leveraging her influence to arrange collaborations with Nigerian heavyweights like Davido and Patoranking. This came on the heels of his successful Banana Remix collaboration with Jamaican star Konshens, which had raised his profile.
"She called me and said she liked my music. She promised to use her connections to secure collaborations with big names like Davido and Patoranking," Fik revealed.
Initially elated by the prospect, Fik eagerly followed up on Sheilah’s promises. However, he alleges that his repeated attempts to make progress were met with delays and vague responses.
"I kept calling and following up, but she kept tossing me around. I felt like she wasn’t serious," he shared, expressing frustration at what he now perceives as empty promises.
Fik’s suspicions deepened recently when Sheilah purchased a sleek Range Rover, leading him to question her intentions and speculate that her promises might have been disingenuous from the start.
Despite his disappointment, Fik Gaza remains focused on pushing his music career forward, with hopes of landing the kind of international collaborations he had been promised.
