Excitement is peaking as Rockfest, the renowned Christian music festival, is set to take place this Friday at Lugogo Hockey Grounds. Headlined by Nigerian gospel star Ada Ehi, the event promises powerful performances from an impressive lineup, including international gospel ministers like Judi Kay, Frank Edwards, and DJ Horphuray.
They’ll be joined by Uganda’s own John Marie, Jah Lead Music, and Gabie Ntaate for what organizers describe as a transformative celebration of music and faith.
In a recent press conference at Media Plaza, Ada Ehi, who appeared with her husband Moses Ehi, emphasized the electric energy the artists are bringing to the stage.
"You are going to experience fire on stage. All the artists, both international and local, are ready to deliver," she stated, assuring fans of an unforgettable, high-energy experience.
Known for founding Rock Fest alongside her husband, Ada noted that the event captures the essence of a global Christian festival through music, arts, and worship, aiming to bring people together in unity and faith.
Gates open at 4:00 PM, with ticket prices set at UGX 20,000 for general admission and UGX 150,000 for VIP access.
Organized by Spirit Media Group, Rockfest promises not only powerful music performances but also a range of events like exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences.
