Uganda Premier League is Back with Two Items on the Menu

The star times Uganda premier league is on this Friday 8th November, 2019 back with two items on the menu.

New league entrants Wakiso Giants entertain sixth Busoga United in a game to be played Kabaka kyabaggu stadium.
The match will also be televised live on Sanyuka TV.

The other clash will see fourth placed Arua side Onduparaka, tussle it out with seventh placed "Slaughters",Kyetume­ FC. In the match on Sanyuka TV, the hosts Wakiso giants, will be looking forward to ending a poor run that has seen them win only twice in the last seven league matches and now on a three match losing streak.

Speaking before the match, interim coach Steven Bengo who took on reigns after the club axed Kefa Kisala, promised a good display going into his second match after the first was a1:0 to table leaders Vipers SC.

For Busoga United FC, they are sixth in the table with five wins, one draw and six losses on sixteen points but have lost both of their most recent two fixtures. Wakiso Giants' trio of Tom Masiko, Ayub Kisaliita and Yasin Mugume are on the sidelines due to injuries, whereas useful midfielder Hassan Ssenyonjo is at national duty.

In Arua, Onduparaka FC welcome Kyetume FC. The home side welcome back goalkeeper "rubber boy" Ezra Bidda. The Charles Livingstone coached team have won six matches, drawn two and lost four in their twelve matches, Sitting fourth on 20 points.

Kyetume FC who are so far the best side of the promoted teams sit seventh with four points adrift of their day's opponents having won five matches and drawing as many as lost, five.

The league continues on Saturday 9th November, 2019 with four fixtures.
