After so many months of begging, the prayer of many Ugandans has finally been answered after confirmation that Jamaican dancehall and reggae artist Louis Anthony Grandison, aka. Dexta Daps, will be performing live in Kampala, Uganda this December.
Scheduled for December 14th, 2024, the concert will take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, with an entrance fee of UGx 100,000 under the show titled Noise Nation.
Dexta Daps has been a top performer in the music industry for nearly 12 years, first gaining attention with his singles “Save Me Jah” and “May You Be” in 2012. Since then, he has collaborated with a host of renowned artists including M.I.A, Davido, Kiesza, Kranium, Masicka, Movado, and Tory Lanez, solidifying his reputation in the industry.
His rise to fame was marked by the release of his hit tracks “Morning Love” and “Jealous Ova” in 2014, which showcased his unique blend of reggae and dancehall. In 2015, he achieved a significant milestone with “Shabba Madda Pot,” which garnered over 13 million views on YouTube, making it one of his most iconic songs.
