With just one week remaining to the long waited for Jinjera Reggae Overdrive where Jamaica meets Amsterdam for a 24 hours nonstop reggae event, Humble Management, the organizers have promised a never seen before experience for party lovers who are to attend.
During a press conference held at Pier One in Ntinda, the organizers of this event assured the public that this was going to be a different event from those that have been happening in Jinja as the event is expected to take place from 6am on 9th March to 6am 10th March.
Nile Nest will host the first-ever Jinjera festival on March 9 where some of the best activities will be held in Jinjera first edition themed ‘Bringing Amsterdam and Jamaica Closer to Home.'
Apart from nonstop music, Jinja will have activities such as games, site seeing, and prize-winning among others.
Humble Management also revealed that there will be performances from top artistes including; Cindy Sanyu, Samasoulja, Ziza Bafana, Nutty Neithan, and Janzi Band among others.
“It was a natural choice to move the venue to Jinja, as it is the capital of adventures. We believe the lineup of artistes is the best for the inaugural edition due to their different strengths. Because the event is happening a day after Women’s Day, we have a special discount package for the women,” said Sam Semakula on behalf of Humble Management.

Early bird tickets for the festival are available for Shs70,000, on different platforms like Quicket and Flexipay while tickets purchased at the gate will be Shs100,000.
