Bina Babie Joins Radio 4, Just Months After Closure of Dembe FM

Longtime radio presenter Robina Mbabazi Mulera, aka Bina Babie has officially joined Ntinda based, Radio 4 as the host for the mid-morning show, just a few months after the closure of Dembe FM where she worked for over 10 years.

The announcement was made with flair by Adam Kungu, the station's manager, on Thursday, February 8, adding a touch of excitement to mid-mornings at 103.3 FM Radio 4.

"The radio giant is in. I welcome the great, the big, and the unmatched to 103.3 FM Radio 4. Your mid-mornings are now sorted," declared Kungu.

Bina Baibe, with her extensive background in radio, previously graced the airwaves at Dembe FM, which recently announced a temporary closure, leaving fans and industry insiders speculating about its future.

The closure notably impacted renowned entertainment critics Isaac Daniel Katende, alias Kasuku, Jenkins Mukasa, and Eddie Sendi, alias Edward Sendikadiwa.

Owned by the dynamic businessman Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, Radio 4 is gearing up for a fresh and vibrant mid-morning show, with Bina Baibe at the helm and Tinah Nangonzi joining as co-host to add an extra layer of excitement.

Bina Baibe's journey in broadcasting began at the Uganda Broadcasting Corporation, making waves on UTV and Radio Uganda with a show tailored for teenagers. After a four-year stint, she transitioned to Dembe FM, where she hosted the popular 'Mubeezi' mid-morning show for over two decades.

As fans eagerly await the details of Bina's debut on Radio 4, her rich history unfolds.
