Ugandan internationally celebrated famed music star Edrisa Musuuza popularly known by his stage name Eddy Kenzo has on Monday evening 28th October paid a courtesy visit to President Museveni at State House Entebbe where the Fountain of Honor hailed and appreciated the singer for his tireless efforts of raising the Pearl of Africa's crown worldwide.

Kenzo had prior revealed how he had been invited by the Commander-in-chief to hear him out about his concerns following the successful hashtag "Weyayu" that had gone viral through his social media platforms calling upon the government to at least recognise his efforts in raising the Africa's Pearl crown.

From taking on the president about his life journey, that saw him emerge from an orphaned street child to becoming a celebrated award-winning artiste, The Big Talent Music Group CEO has presented some of the accolades he has won so far.

It is on this occasion that President Museveni vowed to start rewarding artistes who represent the Pearl of Africa superbly to the extent of excelling on the International level that its done with the sportsmen since they all market the country.

'Taata Natasha' has hailed the 'Congs mama' singer for investing his earnings here (Uganda) and creating more opportunities for other talented young people thus revealing how the government is also gearing at aiding musicians with funds to shoot music videos and up their talents to greater heights.

"Thank you for your encouraging remarks. In response to my past post as I went to state house to meet the president. Indeed I want to confirm that it has come to pass and I have met the the President of Uganda. It was a warm and a fruitful discussion about my individual achievements but also most importantly about the huge potential and opportunities available in the arts industry which he pledged to give full government support. I'll provide details of our interactions anytime soon in the course of this week. Twejjukanyiza binji nga ne volongoto mwali awotuludewo nyo baaba njakuba mbanyonyora mu press conference soon #2presidoz" Eddy Kenzo excitedly posted on social media.
