Singer Shakiraa Shakirah Takes Legal Action Against 'Herbert the Hacker' Over Her Private Leaked Photo

Singer Shakiraa Shakirah has taken the legal route to confront the notorious cyber miscreant known as Arinaitwe Herbert, or as the internet knows him, "Herbert the Hacker." She claims that Herbert stole her phone and lreleased her illicit private photos without her consent.

The legal action stems from the unauthorized dissemination of personal and intimate images, which blatantly infringe upon Shakira's privacy and personal rights. The incident left Shakira in profound distress and public embarrassment, as the photos meant for her eyes only were thrust into the public eye.

Taking matters into her own hands, Shakira filed a theft report with the Nateete Police Division, citing reference SD REF; 06/17/10/23 against Arinaitwe Herbert. With this legal move, Shakira sends a resounding message that no one is above the law, and privacy violations will not be tolerated.

In a series of candid media interviews, the  artist offered a heartfelt apology to her fans and the general public. She explained that this unfortunate breach of privacy was entirely unintentional and, regrettably, a result of her phone falling into the wrong hands.

Shakira also revealed that the culprits had attempted to extort a substantial sum of money from her in exchange for not making the photos public.

In a bold stance against extortion, Shakira publicly declared her refusal to engage in bribery with her perpetrators. She urged the public to stay vigilant, warning that more explicit content could be at risk of being leaked.

Via her Snapchat account, she disclosed that she had received information indicating that the infamous city hacker, "Herbert the Hacker," was behind the theft of her mobile device and the unauthorized release of her personal material on various social media platforms.
