Vipers stretch their unbeaten run to eight after a 2:1 win over BUL to topple the table

Vipers have spit Venom onto BUL FC to stretch their season's unbeaten run to eight matches. 

The Venoms who came into the match as second on the table have claimed the top spot after goals from Frank Tumwesigye and Allan Kayiwa in the 21st and 25th minutes respectively helped Vipers win their seventh match of the season. 

BUL who were at the top of the table before the match now descend to second with the loss their second in the season with six wins and a draw in nine matches. 

The Oil manufacturers scored through Deogracious Ojok in the 29th minute but it was not enough to salvage a point for the Jinja side that would see them stay at the top of the table. 

In the other day's fixtures, KCCA FC visited and beat Maroons FC 3:1 at Luzira Prisons grounds. Thanks to goals from Mike Mutyaba, Mustafa Kiiza (Pen) and John Odumegwu in 42', 88' and 90+3' respectively. 

Nigerian import John Odumegwu registered his first league goal for the Kasasiro boys. 

Sadat Anaku, Odumegwu and Ssekisambu assisted Mike Mutyaba, Mustafa Kiiza and Odumegwu goals respectively.

The home side, Maroons' only goal came from Solomon Walusimbi in the 69th minute assisted by Olinga. 

At Namboole, Kyetume beat Proline FC 1:0. Thanks to a Robert Ssentongo goal that deservedly handed Kyetume FC a vital home win to leave Proline FC glued at the bottom of the table.
