Before even their contract with Next Media expired, Sheila Carol Gashumba and Sheila Salta went and signed a new contract with a new radio station called NRG Radio and they even kept being absent from their shows on NBS which has forced bosses to fire them.
According to exclusive info we received from our trusted sources, Sheilah and Salta have been sacked from Naguru Summit-based NBS Television, two months after the station laid off 30 employees.
Next Media Services CEO, Kin Kariisa relieved 30 staff members of their duties in a process to realign the company’s digital realignment process.
The company has thanked Sheila and Salta for their recognized work with them and announced their resignation via Next Media’s Twitter account.
Since the Kenyan broadcasting power house, NRG started a radio station in Uganda, NRG Radio 106.5 FM, it has been hunting top celebrities to give it mileage NRG radio is in direct competition with Next Media Services’ Nxt Radio and both target the same audience.
A round of applause goes to @sheilasalta, a valuable member of our #NBSKatchUp team moving on to other opportunities. Our heartfelt appreciation for your incredible work with us. Thank you.#AppreciationPost #NextMediaUG pic.twitter.com/xICIVB5zXF
