Big Talent singer Edrisa Musuuza Eddy Kenzo has bragged about how much more talented and bigger he is than the late Philly Bongole Lutaaya even after re-doing his song Born in Africa. Kenzo says that he re-did this song to give it a touch of his Grammy Blessings and enable it to cross allover the world.
Kenzo stated that people are not impressed by his Born in Africa rendition to listen to Philly Bongole Lutaaya’s original version.
So, while addressing the media, Eddy Kenzo got into several topics, including the critics who suggested that his rendition of the late Philly Bongole Lutaaya’s “Born in Africa” song, was half-baked and didn’t meet their expectations.
Kenzo revealed that he redid the song to push it beyond borders, rather than gain fame because he is already famous, and he has songs that have amassed millions of views, in contrast to Philly Lutaaya’s song, which has received one million views over the years.
He emphasized further that because they were two different performers, he couldn’t sing the song to Philly Lutaaya’s level of excellence to better meet the desires of the younger generation.
