Borrowing a leaf from popular Ugandan singer turned politician MP Bobi Wine, Tanzanian pop star Rajab Abdul also known as Harmonize has declared intentions of joining active elective politics in his coastal home country of Tanzania by running for the parliament.

According to the Swahili Newspaper Mwanaichi, President John Magufuli has endorsed Harmonize to run for a seat in parliament next year. Unlike in code 256 where MP Bobi Wine turned out through the opposition People Political pressure group, Tanzania will be looking forward to get its own singer turned MP but with the full backing of the government in power.

Blizz Uganda has learnt that while campaigning for him during a recent rally, the Tanzanian Commander-in-chief President John Magufuli endorsed Harmonize fully to run for the parliamentary seat in the upcoming general elections.

Apart from his music having the green light to airplay in relation to his contemporaries Diamond Platinumz and Rayvanny, Harmonize went on even to record a music audio praising President Magufuli's governance given the endless efforts he has rendered in the transformation of his country.
