Man Paid for Girlfriend's School Fees But She Dumped Him After Graduating, Now Court Orders Her to Pay 10Million Shillings

A 40 Year Old school teacher, Richard Tumwine, a resident of Kanungu, who paid tuition for his then girlfriend Fortunate Kyarikunda to complete studies at the Law Development Centre has dragged her to court and won after she dumped him for another man.

According to Richard, he went into an understanding with Fortunate and even wrote down the promise that she wa to marry hm after finishing her studies.

Richard says that he did all this in the hope of marrying her but is not happy with the court decision that saw him awarded 10 million shillings in compensation for emotional pain.

The teacher says he actually expected the court to award him 15 million shillings instead, 9 Million which he invested in her plus 6 More for her emotional pain.
