2019 COSAFA U17 Girl's Championships Draw Closer, Full Updates

This tournament comprises of national teams of girls under the age of 17 in Southern pronvice of Africa and Uganda will participate as guests. 

Here is what blizz Uganda has gotten for you as the kick off nears. 

The tournament starts on 20th and ends on 29th September, 2019. It will be held at Port Luis in Mauritius. 

The team has engaged in their last training session today Tuesday 17th September, 2019 at 7PM at FUFA technical center in Njeru.

The team has had a 10 days stay in the camp and will depart for Mauritius tomorrow Wednesday 18th September, 2019.

The girls had a friendly match where they lost 3:1 to the national team, a good challenge ahead of their fellow youngsters. 

Uganda is grouped along with Comoros, Mauritius and Zambia in group A.

Two teams from group A and B will progress to the semi finals.

The team will be captained by Kawempe Muslim SS forward Nalukenge Juliet.

It is coached by Ayub Khalifa who on Sunday 15th September, 2019 named a final 20 players squad of 3 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 6 midfielders and 6 forwards.
