For over two months now, rumor has been running around on different social media platforms, TV’s and Radio stations speculating that the Leone Island boss Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone is going to be running for Kampala Mayorship but today he has confirmed it.
During a press conference that was held today (8th April 2019) at DNA Lounge in Kololo, Jose Chameleone cleared air about all these rumors and stated that if his fans want him to stand out and run for office then he will.

Chameleone stated clearly that he will run for office come 2021 after laying out his manifesto to people and all his fans about everything he is to do for them once they vote him.
“If my fans have chosen why not? I have been a leader all my life and it won;t be a challenge for me to lead the people of Kampala if they want me to lead them as their Lord Mayor. Am not a politician and am to do all this as a musician,”– Chameleone revealed to the press.
